Thrust

Check out all that extra thrust, in first gear we almost hit 1,200 pounds of thrust! No wonder the front tire doesn't wear out, it never touches the ground! Anyway, we now have power to spare in 6th gear, because the thrust line is above the thrust required. So, change gearing to take advantage of the extra thrust. We went from 16/43 to 17/40 gearing, and found we could go 199.5 mph. Not quite enough, so back to the dyno to make some more power. We will probably take off the mirrors and blinkers to make the bike a little more aerodynamic.

Fun stuff! Make sure to contact us to find out how we can help you with your gearing.
